Terms of Use

Last updated: June 13, 2026

Using SparkShelf

SparkShelf gives you access to read and interact with the books in our library. You agree to use the service lawfully and not to scrape, redistribute, or resell content except where a work is in the public domain and you comply with its source terms.

Public-domain works

Many works in the library are in the public domain and reproduced from Project Gutenberg. Those works carry their own terms; where required, attribution and license headers are preserved.

Author submissions

You retain ownership of any manuscript you submit. By submitting, you grant SparkShelf a non-exclusive license to ingest, version, store, display, and make your work available to readers on the platform, including through the embedded agent where you enable it.

You represent that you hold the rights to the work you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You can request that we unpublish your work; some copies may persist in backups for a reasonable period.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is.” Agent answers are generated from book content and may be incomplete or wrong; they are not professional advice.
